1062 posts · Joined 2015. #1 · Dec 7, 2019. I noticed my water pump making an abnormal noise on my 2016 SRT 392 and found out that failed water pumps are a common issue on these cars. I only have 25,000 miles on the car so that's mildly concerning. Good thing I got an extended warranty.

First gear is really steep as it is, like 4.70:1 or so. 3.06 gears = 14.38:1 torque multiplication in first gear off the line. 3.90 gears = 18.33:1 torque multiplication in first gear off the line. 14:1 off the line is already insane as it is, but bumping that to 18:1 while also considering you have a supercharger is just going to make it worse.
