If I start the car, go on a drive, come back, and leave it outside for a while, it is difficult to start the next time I go to start it.

Suggesting something was spilled causing the buttons to stick, and drain the battery. I removed the chrome bezel around the center console buttons, therefore no more sticking, (eliminating the source of what the dealer says is the problem) but the starting problem has not gone away.
